This is the sweetest little baby girl. And she happens to belong to a couple of my favorite friends, so I can’t help but love her! A couple of weeks ago, I got to go to Gulf Shores and hang out with them (and a bunch more friends). It was a great weekend, although really cold for the beach. However, Baby C was a good sport for us. She was such a sweetie!
Oh, by the way, Baby C does NOT like sand…. 
Here is that last painting for 2008. I did this for my good friend Shawn at Gypsy Isle Photography in Pensacola, FL. You need to check her work out – she’s fantastic! This painting was a little bit of a departure (OK a BIG departure from all of the dogs lately) and I am really excited about how it turned out. One thing that makes it so great, I think, is the color intensity in it. If you visit her website or blog, you will see that Shawn is a big fan of color and it translates well to painting. Anyway, here it is and here’s to a great, wonderful and peaceful 2009!
I have been photographing J since she was maybe 3 weeks old (?) and K since he was a month or so old (I think – time is flying!) and today we had K’s year-old session. We went to Serenbe near Palmetto. It was great. The kids got to see horses and we went to a treehouse. We had a great lunch there, too. And we had a beautiful day, too. The kids have been sick, though, and poor J was not feeling well at all. But they are such little troopers – we went ahead and they did a great job, I think! And they also passed out the minute we pulled out of the parking space. I just love these kids (and their parents)!
